Positions: Social Mobilizer for Emergency Water and Sanitation projects
in West
1. Qualification: higher degree on university for Anthropology, sociology or every major that is related to social science
2. Nationality: has to be
3. Duration: Minimum 3 months, with possibility up to 12 months
4. Office: Agam in
5. The Social Mobilizer (SM) covers the community and governmental involvement in the planning process and the implementation of the Water and Sanitation projects for schools and public in rural area in Districts Agam and Padang Pariaman,
6. Tasks and competencies:
Operational tasks
- Setting up work plan trough the PRA approach for involvement of the affected community/schools in the project activities
- Setting up community meetings
- Organizing the community in committees for implementation of the construction work and involvement in the hygiene awareness activities of arche noVa
- Support to the PM
- Coordination all activities with the technical supervisors and hygiene awareness trainer
- Further responsibilities within the professional profile of the field supervisor upon order from the PM, Head of Mission (HoM) or the Head Quarters in
- In teamwork with the supervisors and the senior civil engineer setting up training workshop for the community on construction on temporary water and sanitation
- Coordination activities with other stakeholders ( NGOs, governmental institution )
Reporting
- Weekly reporting about all activities and construction progress to the HoM
- Monthly reporting to the government
- Support to the HQ or the PM Administration with reporting to donors
